The Evolving Word is designed for three purposes: miscellaneous rambling (a token gesture, as there are a million sites designed for this), my creative publishing, and thoughts and news on words -- origins, differences, anomalies, etc.
Enjoy it, or not; comment, or not; but do not ignore it. Or ignore it. Whatever.

I fell out of my chair, laughing hysterically, when I saw this website: http://www.krohm.mynetcologne.de/bernd.htm.
How amazing is it that this guy has already raised almost 42,000 euros?
I just hope that this isn't what happened to Oolong, the pancake-balancing rabbit. More here.
As someone else pointed out, if this guy manages to raise 999,999 euros, he still gets to eat the bunny. Even if I am vegetarian, I gotta say that this guy is a marketing genius. You couldn't pick a cuter bunny, in a cuter pose (hands together, as if praying) than this. On some level, I feel like this is bad precedent (assuming, of course, that it is real). But on every other level, I applaud this guy for everything from the idea, to his grammar, and to the fact that he states he will donate at least 80% of the proceeds to charity.
Why didn't I think of this first?
